Imported Image The Ogallala Indian Summer Rendezvous means great bands, great food and great fun!  Ogallala’s annual fall celebration is September 16-18, 2021 downtown at Rendezvous Square. If you missed visiting Ogallala's beautiful Mansion on the Hill museum during the regular season, you're in luck.  The Mansion AND the Petrified Wood & Art Gallery are open to visitors all three days of the Rendezvous from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy more heritage from yesteryear at the Frontier Camp, located at the Front Street parking lot Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Friend of the Library will hold their annual Rendezvous Book Sale at Kathleen Lute Public Library: Thursday - 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday - 9:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Saturday - 10:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The Ogallala Farmer's Market will be at Pinnacle Bank parking lot during Rendezvous - Saturday from 8 to noon. Thursday highlights include the Chili Cook-off 11:00 a.m., the Parade at 2:30 p.m. and Moonlight Madness from 8:00 p.m. to Midnight, with shopping specials in stores all around town.
Friday, you can take in the Quilt Show from 10 to 3 at United Church First Congregational.  The Puzzle Contest takes place from 1:30 to 4 p.m., and the Cowboy Capital Chorus performs at 5:15 p.m.
Saturday, don't miss the Indian Pride 5K Fun Run at 7:30 a.m., the Car and Antique Tractor Show beginning at 9:00 a.m. (registration begins at 8:00 a.m.) The Harvest Art Market will be held from 9 to 5. The Husker game watch party is 10 a.m. at Rendezvous Square. Enjoy Joan Wells' Trick Roping exhibition at 4:30 p.m.
