Fall is in the air, and a spooky good time awaits in Ogallala and the Lake McConaughy area!
🎃 Join AK Adventures for their Haunting Ghost Tours October 10, 11, 17, 24, 25, and 31. Tours begin at 6 p.m. and last approximately 1 hour, $10 per person.
With a mix of storytelling and local lore, Ogallala transforms into something chilling after dark. Tour guide Travis Byers tells tales of famous (and not-so-famous) deaths from our Wild West days and recounts eerie local folklore and legends
Tours begin and end at the Ogallala Rotary Horror Nights behind ASC in Ogallala. Stops will include Boot Hill, Ogallala's 1st Hospital, & Spooky Burial Sites. 🎃 Ready for an even scarier experience? Ogallala Rotary Club is again hosting "Horror Nights: Gymbo's Midnight Circus." Dates are October 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25 from 7 to 10 p.m. Horror Nights will be held at the ASC North Building, 1310 West 4th, Ogallala. Adults $10 and 10 & Under $5.
🎃 The kiddos will love Halloween at the Hollow on Saturday, Oct. 18! Come out to Ash Hollow State Historical Park & celebrate Halloween with the ghosts of the Oregon Trail from 1 to 6 p.m. Mountain Time.
ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
1-5 p.m. – Enjoy kid’s games, creepy education, food vendors, pumpkin decorating, nerf wars, pony rides ($15 per ride), a s’more pit, hayrack rides, scavenger hunt, shooting ranges and more!
5-6 p.m. – Costume contest followed by trunk-or-treating (sponsored by NGPC conservation officers, area EMS and law enforcement); vehicles, ambulances, cruisers and fire rigs will be there throughout the event for kids to look at.
Admission: $4 for ages 13+; $2 for ages 4-12; free for ages 3 and under. A valid state park vehicle permit is required.
